Find or buy broken tiles, parts of broken dishes or mirrors.
If you don't have enough or you only have full intact tiles, put it inside a towel, take a hammer and break it into pieces.
Put the thinset mortar inside a bucket with water.
When the cement is ready, take the trowel and put some cement over the surface where you want to put the tiles.
Lay down the pieces in whatever order you like (you can do it following a main color or make it random, multicolor)
Prepare the grout, putting grout, water, again grout until you get the thickness you want
Let the cement dry all the night.
Take a bit of the grout, and rub it around until all the cracks are filled with grout.
With the sponge, clean and wash all the extra grout
Wait until the grout dries.
